Princess Anne’s Son Peter Phillips Makes Rare Appearance at Wimbledon

Peter Phillips, the son of Princess Anne and grandson of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, attended Wimbledon 2025 with his girlfriend Harriet Sperling.

For British royal Peter Phillips, Wimbledon 2025 was all love.

The son of Princess Anne and equestrian Mark Phillips stepped out at the tennis tournament in London on July 9 with his girlfriend of more than a year Harriet Sperling.

For their chic tennis date, the 47-year-old grandson of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip donned a navy suit jacket, khaki pants, white shirt and navy-and-red striped tie, while Harriet wore a light blue linen skirt set.

Indeed, the Wimbledon outing proves the pair are going strong more than a year into their romance, four years after Peter’s divorce from Autumn Phillips. (The former couple are parents to Savannah, 14, and Isla, 13.)

Of course, Peter wasn’t the only member of his famous family who took in a match from Royal Box July 9, as Queen Camilla also stepped out to enjoy a day viewing the courts.

And they may not be the last royals to take in the Grand Slam tournament this year as Kate Middleton has often joined the event during the final weekend of matches—including at the 2024 Men’s Final, where she made a rare public appearance amid her cancer treatment.

Though the Princess of Wales has yet to ace her Wimbledon entrance this year, her parents Carole Middleton and Michael Middleton attended the event on July 7. As passion for tennis clearly runs in the family, Kate has previously detailed why attending Wimbledon has become a staple.
